September 2019 - Normal life goes on!

Ah yes the title says ‘Normal life goes on’ but as I keep asking what is ‘normal’? The answer is different for everyone and I am no exception. My ‘normal’ is simply what has happened in my life so far as per previous entries, so nothing changed! There ended my entry on this occasion!

Ah not quite, as I have always something to say though and I wont make any exception here! Sorry folks but I must ramble! Since my last entry in April, for numerous reasons, I never manage to get out for over two months and it was not until beginning of June, I finally succeeded with a visit to the Village, albeit on a Wednesday which traditionally is ‘tranny night’. I had not been to the Village on a Wednesday for some time, mainly because it was getting quiet, along with some venue changes in the village too, some not for the better either. Consequently, this made it less of an attraction to go prefering to favour Friday / Saturday evenings when there is more people about and a better atmosphere. Anyway, knowing there was a couple of friends who would be there on this evening, I went and had a better evening that I imagine. To be honest, there were a few people about which helped including a few Tgirls too. The only real issue to driving home as the M62 tends to be closed due to road works in connection with the so called ‘smart motorway’ scheme which personally is a total farce! Instead 3 lanes of nose to tail traffic, have 4 lanes instead by using the hard shoulder. Nothing changes but spending loads of money on a wasted scheme along with all the inconvenience while the DoT do it!

In July, manage to attend Sparkle for the weekend, although it was OK, saved by a small group of girls I met over the weekend, it could of been a total disaster. I never planned to stay the weekend but was at the literally last minute, had no choice due to changing circumstances at home for the weekend. Fortunately, I manage to stay with a friend which was appreciated but it ended up being a trial and error for both of us and not exactly a great success unfortunately. Next year, hopefully revert back to type and travel to/from Manchester, much easier. I must admit, I am not too sure of what is Sparkle’s purpose anymore, it is definitely being more commercialised and not for the better either. I dont think it is helped by the fact the ‘Village’ itself is changing and clearly less venues than there use to be. On the plus side, it is making some of the girls to venture outside the  Village area which is no bad thing. May be next year, I do something different in connection with the weekend although ‘Sparkle’ will be the excuse to meet some friends but outside the Village instead - yes?

Since July, manage to get out a couple of occasions with some friends to the usual haunt of the Village and the evenings have been enjoyable but always they could be better. This is now’t to do with my friends, just my own thoughts and really looking for ‘everyday world’ outings again but finding girls who are similar to me, is just an age old problem and one that never be solved. But I won’t give up though and one day, things will change!

Not been out for 4 weeks now due to a ‘virus’ which I am only beginning to shake off now but at least I am getting there now - at last! However, try as I did, I had plans to meet Nikki from Northern Ireland a week last Saturday as she was over on her twice yearly visit to the mainland but getting this virus was always touch and go if the meet was going to proceed. Unfortunately, I had to cancel, I was just not right but it did annoy me, as the meet had been planned for some time but sods law intervenes, how bloody annoying! Fortunately, Nikki took it in the right context which was appreciated but I still felt guilty, as it is not nice letting some one down. All being well, hopefully I will see Nikki at the beginning of next year.

I have provisional plans for going this Saturday but currently not commited until I know I am 100% better as that is my priority. After that, nothing in the pipeline but really do wish to get  out during the day (afternoon / early evening) and be part of the ‘everyday’ world. Any takers to join me please but like me, wish to blend in and just be like everyone else around. Not noticed!

Well, that is enough ramblings for now. Next entry as and when?
